Today is July 18.
It’s Mandela international day. And, I’d like to use the opportunity to talk about one of the most spectacular cultural genome decryption ever done for political purposes.
At the beginning of the years 1990s, the apartheid regime in South Africa desperate to outmaneuver the ANC in order to preserve white privileges and loot, hired a team of American psychologists famous for their work on Cultural genome decryption and cultural CRISPR technologies.
The team was headed by Don Beck, the author of the seminal book ‘Spiral dynamics’ which popularized the cultural genome project of Clare Graves in the 1970s. Ken Willber had written a popular book on the topic.
Like for the body, the cultural genome project intends to decrypt the cultural DNA of a population or a country in order to understand it beyond the apparences. Memes are the DNA of social and personal self programming. Decoding those memes is the project here.
The Don Beck team classified the whole South African society into the 8 building blocks of a cultural genome. From then they prepared discourse scripts for each groups for the apartheid regime and the negotiators.
Mandela was the first to be targeted by the psychological experiment and he was classified ‘yellow’, which means he stands for the right of all individuals to seek fulfilment, well-being, knowledge beyond affiliation, territory and loyalty to a family, a tribe, a country, … The operating mode and life priority of ‘yellow’ is to seek knowledge beyond human senses and personal cognitive capabilities.
The various groups identified in South Africa (8 in total) were worked on with 8 different discourse fitting their world view or perception, level of consciousness and life priority.
The Don Beck team did a fantastic job for the apartheid regime, in conjunction with the Oppenheimer task group and the conservative target assassination of those who were too clever to see through the various smokes screen.
In the end, the ANC was cornered and domesticated. The white kept the stolen lands and all their privileges, and honored Mandela with his long time dream to become the first black president of South Africa, regardless of his frail mental health after so many years in prison.
The international capitalists and the CIA used their medias to elevate the domesticated ANC leaders into medias darlings and gave them Nobel prize.
South Africa became the first failed independence in Africa, while the leaders of that failure become pop stars.
Nowadays the cultural genome main clients are oil companies like BP, Shell, mining companies in Africa, and western governments applying it to the immigrants population in their home countries.
Anyone interested in public policy and social engineering might pay attention to that exciting field of cultural genome. And any African government should grasp the extent of that exciting cultural technology.
